ELEVATOR SYSTEM

The MAFAL bucket elevators provide the vertical transportation of the grain in a most economic and efficient way. The elevator system is designed for grain handling and manufactured in order to be able to operate successfully under hard working conditions.

Components such as the trunk, the drive unit (head section) and the belt tensioner unit of MAFAL elevator system are made of galvanized steel sheets. The standard plastic, metal or galvanized metal buckets which can be used for vertical handling of the grain are manufactured by MAFAL.

The motor group is placed on the upper head section of the elevator system and there is no need to cover the group with any extra protecting sheet cause it is water resistant. V-belt transmission system is used in geared motor drives. The gearbox is directly connected to the drive shaft. The upper head section has three inspection windows which also provide easier access and repair possibility. The interior part of the upper head section where grain hits and rubs is manufactured rubber plated in order to reduce the possibility grain damages. The upper head section drum pulley is also rubber plated for preventing belt slippage and skidding.

The foot section has 2 inspecting windows to ease the access and also two covers to ease cleaning. The belt tensioner unit prevents the decreasing of the belt performance, elongation due to hot weather conditions and long time usage. The drum pulley is made of steel cage for avoiding the grain going inside the drum and the belt slippage.
