VENTILATION SYSTEM

The aeration channels (foundation floor design and the size of channels vary according to the kind of the grain and capacity of the silo) are left on the concrete foundation of the silos. These channels are covered with perforated galvanized steel sheets which have suitable (3 mm or smaller) perforation diameter.

MAFAL uses ALFAN brand radial and axial fans with varying capacities to aerate the grain inside the silos.

MAFAL ventilations shafts blow the dust and pesticide easily out the silo. These shafts are inclined and the front of them is covered with grill. Grills prevent the entrance of the birds and akin foreign substances. For having the inclined structure there is no possibility of snow and rain leakage.
